How do you know what to do for the client? It starts with assessing the situation. Assessments for the beginning, the middle and the end of a session or series of sessions.
This course will present skills using:

- Body/mind assessments
- Tissue assessments
- Energy assessments
- Breathing assessment
No matter what “body-view” lens you are looking through, these assessment skills will guide you in customizing your session for the specific needs of your client.
Iris is the co-founder and director of Educating Hands School of Massage for its first 37 years, teaching and providing holistic bodywork for over 40 years. She is the coauthor of “TouchAbilities”, a pre-eminent method of teaching and learning massage. Iris has developed and taught every subject in the school curriculum, supporting thousands of therapists in developing a holistic approach to bodywork while establishing good body mechanics to extend the length and quality of their careers.
Mark Freeman, LMT is a licensed massage therapist in Miami, Fl. specializing in manual soft tissue therapy using techniques from Structural Integration, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Active Isolated Stretching, and Positional Release. Mark has taught a variety of science-based classes at Educating Hands School of Massage. He is a staff member with Judith Delaney’s NMT Center and has assisted Nick Chitty with seminars.
