This stretching class will give you a renewed understanding of the kinesthetic of the body so you can incorporate effective assisted stretching to your massage therapy protocol. Stretching tight muscles, trigger points and fascia allows the body to reposition itself to neutral, gain increased circulation, flush out toxins and recover from injury and atrophy. We will review common pathologies, treatment areas, safe body mechanics for the therapist and adequate draping for clients. You will learn a selection of over 20+ assisted stretches and adaptations for upper extremities, lower extremities, neck, abdomen, and back.
Thursday 1 – 8 PM (1hour break), Friday 10 AM – 5 PM (1-hour break)
